All donations to the Natural Heritage Trust directly benefit state parks, conservation and historic preservation in New York State. Donations are fully tax-deductible.
For over 50 years, thousands of individuals and private organizations have contributed financial resources that make the work of the NHT possible. Here are the ways you can support our work
Tax-deductible Contributions in the form of cash, stocks, mutual fund shares, or donor-advised funds to support operations, programs, and capital projects. Donations can be directed to specific state parks, historic sites, and programs like Ladders to the Outdoors, the Autism Nature Trail, Learn-to-Swim, and other initiatives that support outdoor recreation, access, and environmental education in state parks.
Memorial and Tribute Gifts to remember and honor family members and friends. When your memorial or tribute gift is received, we will send a personalized letter to the honoree or their family notifying them of your thoughtful gift.
