Thank you for your interest in planting a tree in a Niagara region state park. Trees are wonderful ways to remember and honor loved ones who have passed, celebrate milestone occasions, or just help keep our environment healthy. We appreciate your support of NY State Parks.

Plant and dedicate a commemorative tree with a $500 donation to Niagara Region State Parks. Your donation will support tree planting at New York State Parks throughout the Niagara region.

Choose between American Hop-Hornbeam, American Sweetgum, Gray Birch, Bur Oak, Sugar Maple, Red Oak, Red-Panicled Dogwood, River Birch, Shadblow, and Swamp White Oak.* Planted trees will be between 1 ½ to 2 cal. and will be supported with stakes and a waterbag.

Your tree will be tagged with the name and a brief description of the person or event you are honoring. Your dedication will also be listed on the Parks website.

For questions about this program, please contact plantatree@parks.ny.gov.

*While we will do our best to accommodate your tree preference, species availability is not guaranteed and will vary year to year due to changes in our habitat’s invasive and natural threats.
